Artist Statement

I am attempting to create a landscape inside the belly of the mother, there where the struggle began. It is the hands that create the initial deception. Esau means to deceive, although the deceptive one was Jacob. This work is a reflection about human relations, survival and the place that each of us occupies in the world.
